EUNIC London is part of the
global EUNIC network.
We established our group in London in September 2007, as
an association of 11 cultural institutes of EU member-states
represented in London. We have taken shape in a 'natural' way, based on
the experience & partnership spirit shared by many cultural
institutes which go back a long way in London.
We started and have stayed informal, bureaucracy-light and committed to joint-working on creative projects
which show Europe's extraordinary richness and diversity in arts,
culture and language. Our main focus themes look at Intercultural
Dialogue and Multilingualism.
We are now 23 members and associate-members who share knowledge and resources on a common European agenda.
Our Charter
spells out our mission and objectives and positions EUNIC London as a
flexible association open to work collaboratively with British and
international organisations.
EUNIC London is a unique network of cultural
institutions aiming at enhancing European cultural diversity and
European creativity in the UK. Since its creation in 2007, it
has developed an annual documentary film festival, a dance festival, a
design exhibition and several events in the literary field or on
historical perspectives. For 2010, EUNIC will in concentrate its
activity on jazz music and European literature. I hope the British
audiences will enjoy!
